Account opening conditions

• For Yemenis:

o The account holder must be at least 18 years old.

o Bring a valid electronic ID or passport

o Bring two recent 4*6 personal photos

• For non-Yemenis:

o The original valid passport.

o A valid residence permit

o Bring two recent 4*6 personal photos

a. Account Features:

• Get annual interest

• Interest is accrued at the end of June and the end of December of each year.

• Ease of withdrawing and depositing from any of the bank's branches without commission.

• the possibility to obtain an international ATM card, master card.

• The possibility to withdraw through ATMs.

• The possibility to buy online.

• The possibility of linking the account to the Al-Tijari Net service and the SMS service.

Term Deposit Service

Yemen Commercial Bank provides  the service of opening deposit account of all kinds to the valued  customers  (young or old) and in all major currencies (Yemeni riyals - US dollars - Saudi riyals ... etc), and through this service our valued customers get the best competitive interest rates on deposits at a rate of 15% for deposits in Yemeni Riyal, as well as the best interest rates for deposits in other currencies, in order to encourage customers to invest their money in a safe way away from risks, YCB also allows the customer to  choose the term of the deposit link as he /she wishes, and the customer  can limit its duration according to the following deadlines:
1.One-month term deposits.
2.Three-month term deposits.

3. Deposits:

a. Account Features:

• receive annual interest.

• Interest is credited every month or three months to the customer's current account.

• The possibility of breaking the deposit and withdrawing it at the maturity date without any loss of interest.

• The deposit can be added to at any time.

• The possibility of linking the account to the Al-Tijari Net service and the SMS service.

• The deposit amount shall not be less than one hundred thousand riyals

 

4. Minor accounts:

a. Account Features:

• Encourages children to save.

• The account is opened for the minor by the father, mother or guardian.

• Ease of withdrawal and deposit from any of the bank's branches without commission through the guardian or trustee.

• A minor has the right to manage his account by himself upon reaching the age of majority (18 years) and after the waiver of the guardian/guardian.

Account terms:

• Bring a valid electronic ID or passport of the guardian.

• Bring two recent 4*6 personal photos of the guardian.

• Bring a birth certificate for the minor.

• The minor must be under 18 years old.
